รองโฆษก รบ. ประณามกัมพูชา ไม่ใส่ใจศพทหารตนเอง ขณะที่รัฐบาลไทยประกาศสดุดีวีกรรมพร้อมเชิดชูทหารไทยคือศักดิ์ศรีของชาติ

วันที่ 2 ส.ค. น.ส.ศศิกานต์ วัฒนะจันทร์ รองโฆษกประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เปิดเผยว่า ในช่วงเวลาที่สถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชายังคงตึงเครียด ประเทศไทยยังคงยึดมั่นในหลักแห่งความเป็นหนึ่งเดียวของชาติ ซึ่งสะท้อนผ่านพลังของประชาชนที่พร้อมยืนหยัดร่วมกัน สนับสนุน รัฐบาลโดยกองทัพไทย บุคลากรทุกหน่วย  และให้เกียรติแก่ผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ปกป้องแผ่นดินอย่างสูงสุดสมเกียรติ

สิ่งที่ประเทศไทยมี และเป็นจุดแข็งที่ไม่มีใครพรากไปได้ คือความรักชาติของคนไทย ความสามัคคีของคนในชาติที่ไม่สั่นคลอน และความศรัทธาอย่างลึกซึ้งต่อทหารผู้เสียสละในแนวหน้า ซึ่งเป็นเกราะปกป้องประเทศในยามวิกฤติ

การที่กัมพูชาปฏิเสธว่าร่างทหารที่เสียชีวิตจากเหตุปะทะตามแนวชายแดน “ไม่ใช่ทหารของตน” เป็นการลดทอนเกียรติภูมิของผู้เสียสละอย่างไร้ยางอาย ต่างจากประเทศไทยที่ยึดมั่นในคุณค่าของความเสียสละ และเชิดชูเกียรติทหารในฐานะผู้ปกป้องแผ่นดิน ผู้เป็นหลักชัยแห่งศักดิ์ศรีของชาติ

ทั้งนี้ รัฐบาลขอยืนยันว่า ทหารไทยทุกนาย และประชาชนผู้เสียสละ คือสัญลักษณ์ของเกียรติภูมิ ความมั่นคง และเอกราชของชาติ การยืนหยัดของพวกเขาคือพลังของประเทศ และจะได้รับการยกย่องด้วยเกียรติยศสูงสุดจากแผ่นดินไทยอย่างสมศักดิ์ศรี

Deputy Government Spokesperson Condemns Cambodia for Disregarding Fallen Soldiers, While Thailand Honors Its Troops as National Pride

On August 2, Ms. Sasikarn Wattanachan, Deputy Spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, issued a strong statement amid the ongoing Thai-Cambodian border tensions. She emphasized that Thailand remains steadfast in its unity, as seen in the collective support of its people for the government, the Thai military, and all personnel involved in protecting the homeland.

“What Thailand has — and no one can take away — is the unwavering patriotism of its people, national unity, and deep reverence for the soldiers who sacrifice on the frontlines,” she said. “They are the nation’s shield in times of crisis.”

Ms. Sasikarn condemned Cambodia’s reported denial that the bodies recovered near the border clashes were its own soldiers, calling it a disgraceful act that undermines the dignity of those who sacrificed their lives. “In contrast, Thailand upholds the value of sacrifice and honors its soldiers as defenders of the land and symbols of national pride,” she added.

She reaffirmed that every Thai soldier and every civilian who sacrifices for the country stands as a symbol of national honor, sovereignty, and strength. “Their stand is the power of the nation, and they will be commemorated with the highest honors from the Thai state,” she declared.
